Since the extensive refurbishment at The Lygon Arms which was completed in Summer 2016, the Lygon Bar & Grill has become one of our favourite restaurants on date night. The great hall has always been beautiful and it’s a special space to enjoy. There is a lovely menu with plenty of choice - we particularly like the twice baked cheese souffle starter.

For main course we have had a perfectly cooked chateaubriand to share and on another occasion delicious Dover sole and an equally tasty bubble & squeak with hollandaise sauce & a poached egg. The traditional crumble pudding is scrummy and so is the tiramisu. There is also a vegan menu available as well as the vegetarian options. Choose one of the cosy lounges for a coffee or something stronger - the barkeeper will have lots of cocktails to tempt you!
