The Festival™ at Cheltenham Tuesday 11 - 14 March 2025

Many racegoers enjoy staying in Broadway during Cheltenham Festival and the village gets quite busy. Broadway is 20 minutes drive from the racecourse at Prestbury, Cheltenham so it's very handy for visitors and locals who are fond of the racing. Cheltenham Festival takes place for four days in March and usually coincides with St Patrick's Day making it popularly with Irish visitors. The Festival™ is a National Hunt racing meet and is an event where many of the best British- and Irish-trained horses race. Cheltenham Festival is well known for its atmosphere, particularly the "Cheltenham roar", the huge noise that the crowd generates as the starter raises the tape for the first race of the festival.
